Wednesday Night Women
The Wednesday Night Women’s League plays every Wednesday alternating between the 6:50pm and 9:10pm draw times. Our section’s goal is to provide the best balance of social camaraderie, competition, and skill development in a women’s only league. Members apply on an individual basis and are then placed on a team with every attempt to balance the teams. Players are assigned a playing position (lead, 2nd, vice or skip) based on their skill level and indicated preference. Some player re-positioning may be necessary in order to complete teams for each draw. Teams are shuffled for a total of 4 draws a season with a goal of playing with new team members and meeting more people. The league welcomes those curlers who cannot commit to every Wednesday evening to sign up for the spare list. this league operates with a capacity of 56 curlers plus spares.
