Dixie's Refund Policy

Under normal circumstances, Dixie Curling Club does not refund membership fees. However, there may be some exceptions to that standard practice.

If there are events outside of the control of the Club which require closure of the club, modification of the curling season, and/or delays or alterations in league play or other club activities; the Board Executive (President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary) may, based on the particular circumstances, consider paying refunds of a portion of membership fees.

If an individual member’s circumstances change, the Board Executive may consider refunding all or a portion of membership fees based on the member’s specific circumstances. These circumstances may include previously unknown medical issues that arise and prevent the member from participating in curling for a substantial portion of the season, or a member moving further than 100 km from the Dixie Curling Club. The decision of whether or not to pay refunds in each particular circumstance will be at the sole discretion of the Board Executive.

Application for membership refund must be submitted in writing to the Dixie Curling Club General Manager (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). An administration fee of $100.00 will be deducted from any agreed upon refund to cover handling and processing fees. The final date to submit written refund requests is February 15, 2025 for the 2024 – 2025 curling season.
